But ya these are all new Fable cities, so no 3rd ring borders. What's even weirder is that the plains tile is also going to flip, but that to me indicates some amount of culture has to be coming from his other city to flip the fish sooner, which that city doesn't even have his religion so even more of a mystery.
Cornflakes GNP has been garbage recently. I wonder if he did settle the artist...... But you would think if he went all t he way to that tech he would have a plan for a GA with it. /shakes fist at Cornflakes taking away my plan for an easy 3rd GA.
He is building culture.

DOH!!!!!
I've even purposefully researched music just to do that myself.... but it has been a while.

I'm trying to raise my empire from the bottom, so it seemed appropriate. I don't normally name cities until they are out of revolt, but the song doesn't actually say if it was raised...... (Its has only an extremely loose connection to an actual historical event).
Anyways, while SD is pinning down Cornflakes in the south I get to skim 5-6 cities off the top with only using my old outdated junk plus some ele's. Using both my galley's and culture I get to actually advance pretty fast. Cornflakes just has multiple empty cities up here as of a couple turns ago, so turned out hopefully easier than I imagined. It will be interesting to see how much he cares if any vs his core SD is going after. Ginger keeps giving extremely long time lines for joining, while looking at an empty city across the border.....
Anyways, once GA is done I'll whip out some knights for safety / keeping gains. One of my favorite things to do is use extra GA hammers to then be multiplied by organized religion, so still pushing infrastructure quite a bit.

Good song choice.
There is no way to peace. Peace is the way.

I think I'm going to change Falme to this. Its imperative I rename the Wheel of Time cities btw. While I love the book series a lot...... the naming theme has yet to not end in death for the person doing the naming.
I know I haven't been reporting, but I'm assuming Cornflakes reporting him razing my city. I should have had a vulture in it /shrug. Nothing else has really been going on. Anyways, I pretty much have taken every city at low cost that I want except for one that I'm not sure if its "mine" or not. But I had an idea I'm praying is still a good idea.
Ginger is supposed * to be invading in 2 turns and I need SD going long as a counter to Ginger. So hoping this doesn't anger either too much (it is bound to a little). Pleasing SD is btw why I supported this war (in addition to easy takings). Again if I was SD the Jack conquest would have been my go to, but he really wanted to invade Cornflakes so I went along with it. Anyways, Cornflakes might take this to make his empire more defensible / screw over SD.
Other news is that I finally replaced the floodplain farms over at Bloody Rose with a cottage, which I thought was news worthy . It can't grow onto anything other than coast now.

No peace. I got a little worried because Ginger cancelled two fish for fish (I had sent him another last turn just to confirm), but it looks like he just kept one (see below for record). Also, the road on the banana makes me hopeful. Cornflakes and I are kind of staring at each other. I might* be able to move out in two turns, but hoping he pulls units back after Ginger invades. Cornflakes took a SD city, but I think SD is just retreating? Cornflakes is sending some units north which cancel out my incoming mostly, but currently neither of us can do much to the other.
I'm going to hopefully cancel the marble trade in 3 turns. FINALLY researching calendar for the 1 uncottaged dye and for +1 food in capital. I was iffy if it was worth it, but it probably barely pays back and I want to plantation the banana at Fables capital. I'll probably throw two merchants into capital next turn. Got a scientist this turn, which isn't a type capital naturally produces, so have a good shot at a 3rd GA. I was somewhat hoping for an engineer for Taj, but ah well.

Ginger was supposed to invade this turn....... But as you can see by civic switches, I'm guessing he has no intention (even though he is 2nd ranked military atm). I'm forced to leave some back though because of his non joining. Considering we went back and forth on this multiple times I'm a little pissed. Also, a little confused as he could legitimately take a descent bit since SD has been forced back.
I had a transferring vulture to Sailor's prayer that won its 25% odd fight vs an injured knight. Go go VULTURES!!! They do defend vs medieval stuff in a non embarrassing fashion.
I was thinking of wealth building my way to nationalism if Ginger invaded. I'm honestly confused why he is going for other than denial. He is obsoleting his own MoM after 1 GA ......... Surely his phil self could have popped a 2nd GA by now. Unless I missed one somewhere. Poor Bing eating a turn of anarchy.

Ginger didn't come in. SD peaced out. I was going to probably advance on Rhuiden as I just got all my units ferried over..... but time to get out of dodge.
I could theoretically keep a stack near Mary Ellen, but not worth it. Again, this was a low risk play from me. I lost what 4-5 obsolete units for the chance to increase my empire by 4-5 cities.
100% SD goes and kills Jack now. I hope he remembers I helped him out...... I also may place a city over by by him as a very bad whipping post / future draft city (with settler I built to refound the razed one over here).

I'm assuming this has been answered in Gingers thread, but does he get the extra MoM GA turns launching GA before it obsoletes?
Cornflakes offered peace for 500g. IE I would get to keep the two cities I have over there....... For 10 turns and then they would be totally exposed to being taken.
