Ever since Naram_sin and Suppanut showed me that moving spells to Arcane was supported, I got the idea of moving certain generically useful spells to the Arcane realm. And after some experimentation, this mod was born. It was fairly simple to make, it merely took changing a few variables and redefining certain values to make it work. Here's what it does:
a. Move Dispelling Wave from Sorcery to Arcane, changing its cost to 50 MP base.
b. Move Disillusionise from Sorcery to Arcane, changing its research cost to 4000 RP and casting cost to 100 MP base.
c. Move AEther Binding from Sorcery to Arcane, making it Rare, changing its Research cost to 5000 RP and casting cost to 1000 MP.
d. Move Resurrection from Life to Arcane, making it Rare and changing its Research cost to 4500 RP.
I altered some AI starting spell picks to accommodate these changes. Download the mod from the attachment below, and let me know how it plays out.
Installation instructions:
Unzip the files, extract them to the Data folder within the Master of Magic Caster Windows folder. Delete the spells.dat file before starting a new game.
