@Magic. The main map makers currently active are Commodore the Great and Tarkeel. Google spreadsheets are the improved way ( /takes a bow). That being said I used to put map type up for vote, but especially with lots of people if you don't limit it to a couple of types there is never consensus and the map maker usually just ended up doing their own thing anyways. So it probably depends is A) Commodore is doing it and feels like doing a custom map in which case type doesn't really matter or B) I'm doing / Commodore doesn't feel up to that much work and make the vote between 2 types and map maker does some start / resources adjustments / maybe some other minor changes.
Edit: sometimes map size is voted on for tiles / player, but amica dictated that.

In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Tarkeel and Mjmd: thank you so much for your offers! I hope neither of them prove necessary, though. Who are the mapmakers still around on this forum today anyway?
Also, I created a Google Spreadsheet for tallying the votes for the remaining undecided settings like Mjmd did for Pitboss 65. Just happily ignore it if there is a superior way to do this. Here it is: LINK.
Could we please make the map type another variable up to be voted on? I would prefer something other than Torusland or Mirrorworld, though in the end I am of course prepared to accept whatever map our gracious mapmaker is prepared to create. That is the case, yes. You're right, I should have included it for people less familiar with more recent games - my mistake, fixed now. Thanks for making the spreadsheet! I am happy to have the map type available to be voted on, but I suspect we're looking at a Torusland vs. Mirrorland vote, unless a heroic mapmaker appears. Of course, if they do, they are free to create whatever they want (within the rough tiles per player).

It would be terrifying great to have you there! Probably need to confirm by the 19-20th, but I will PM you as well.

It would be great to have you in the game, but I would also not complain if you decide to roll/check the map. It's up to you, but if you're iffy on time that could be a good solution - this looks like it could be a fun one to lurk! You still have a couple of days to decide, though.
That's the advantage to creating the thread myself.

For the last ten maps: I made 60, 61 and 62. Commodore made 62 and 65. Lewwyn made 59, Pindi made 58, Noble made 57, and SD made 56.

I forgot Pindicator made PB58. That map looked great to play on. Someone sucker him in!
BTW Torusland produces some nice maps for anyone who wants something to modify. Resources definitely need modified at start ect, but the maps look pretty good.

I'd like to join but I don't think I will have the time to play 3 games simultaneously. (I'm playing in 2 on civforum right now.) If someone likes to team up I could be persuaded though.

Welcome to the game! I have added your team to the Pitboss 66 Voting sheet in the first post.
@Amicalola (and I guess everyone else too): two three more questions about the rules described in the first post.
1) Would "City Trading = Allowed" only mean you are allowed to include one city in each peace treaty deal, as it is in Pitboss 63 and Pitboss 65, or would it mean unlimited city trading is allowed?
2) What does the "No Spies" rule mean for Great Spies? Players are still capable of producing them, so what do we do if one appears? Delete it, keep it only in your territory, just let it go wherever, or what?
3) We should tick "No Vassal States" as well, right?
