Its been a second since I've drafted. Thanks for the explanation Charriu. See tooltip bug (also figured you would like I'm building an explorer to replace the lost chariot). Anyways, I end up at 2 exp from draft with both barracks and Theocracy as you stated.
This city A) has a lot of happy and B) may not be around for long, sooo DRAFT.

Charriu beat me to it.
Depending on the context, I think 1-drafting muskets can be better than 2-drafting rifles, FWIW. Maybe not in a hot war, but in general worth considering. I know I regretted researching Rifling when I did in PB59, for example. But mostly bring it up because I'm curious on your thoughts.
Also, things look pretty bleak but I'm still rooting for you to turn it around!

Things look REAL bleak. Bing peaced out, which is a move. Ginger wasn't ever going to invade while I'm at war with him, but he could have kept some very small # of units occupied. Hell he could have joined the naval fight (which it looks like SD lost in the western sea).
I'm curious why you think 1 pop muskets drafts are better than 2 pop rifle drafts? To me the big thing is always the happiness, which adds up quite fast. A lot of my cities already have a descent whip unhappy built up (some from a long time ago still). Another reason I really wanted new cities online for drafting before I started this war. SIGH BING. THE LEAST YOU COULD HAVE DONE WAS STAYED IN!!!!!!!! Seriously, he goes guns blazing at a time I didn't want and then peaces out, wtf. Ginger proposed splitting him, I should have taken him up on it lol (I'm like half serious).

I think probably my impression is skewed from having more cities than normal in the two games I've really tried (PB59 and PB60). Which made happiness less of a concern due to a wider cycle. That's a fair point. The other point is just pop s is better with muskets, but happiness being the bigger issue makes sense.
Edit: Hah! I made the mistake you did in my PB55 thread. That should say 'pop : hammers'

Ya its a lot of the older cities. Mingulay which mind you has had its only food stolen at multiple points (including currently) has something like 7 whip unhappy. The larger cities, which already are running tight on happy could get drafted bloody when I get rifles, but once I lose the east the game is pretty much on lock for Ginger and I don't see any way to prevent that really. I'm REALLY pissed at Bing for going solo on that attack. Like I had to try to attack there right? Otherwise Ginger just eats Bing, again unless I pickup more of Bing..... but that would have been kind of a crappy thing to do. The more I think on it, the more convinced I am that that was the actual correct play to win, but it would have been really scummy.

I think it's a matter of what you're short on; food or happy. Rifles are much better bang if you're happy constrained, but in a Globe-only scenario, I'd rather have a musket every turn then rifle every 2.

Interesting, but yes I can see both Amica's and Tarkeel's points. I am constrained on happy definitely. I actually wasn't very far away from setting up globe. It was actually on my to do list during the GA (I had planned on staying in organized longer). I had already constructed 4/6 theatres.

It seems like Ginger asks for TONS of reloads or Ramk fixes. I have no clue what this one entails, but its past T190 people. Did he explore his entire stack with a hotkey? Did he bulb alphabet with a great merchant? (I know he has but listen I have to list my own idiocies). It would have to be pretty major. Point being, I think he has asked for as many reloads / intervention as all the rest of the players in all the games active COMBINED.
Edit: (not that it should matter for reload requests, but also unless he literally deleted half his cav force I don't think it really matters).

Things happened. I probably should have requested an extension as I'm drop dead exhausted from today, but I only threw away 1 cat I didn't need to so eh. Whats happening up here is exactly what I expected to happen. Also, to my TOTAL surprise, after bugging me incessantly SD is just sitting at home with his stack no where near the border while this happens. Listen I know you don't have much, but if your stack was in position to hit even just the cav on the hill it would have been helpful. If he had gone all out and scrapped the barrel maybe he could have retaken or razed numbers. But nope, Ginger getting to a critial mass of cities because of a poorly timed war you and Bing wanted and neither of you are helping. YEP. I swear I'm mostly too tired to actually be as bitter as I wrote there. I just know I should be.
I just did a world builder test and it doesn't look like you can go city fort fort city. I also tried doing city fort fort water and that doesn't' look like it works either. Just wanted to confirm.
Edit: most likely I'm bugging out of the east next turn. I sent two more knights just in case, but my suspicion is the two cats next to Johnny will bombard this turn and more rifles will move in. I could either go for the injured cav and 1 rifle on flat OR the Rifle, musket, 2 cats on the hill. I choose the more valuable target /shrug.
