You should try "Vassal States = On" for this game.
Or at least think about it instead of automatically turning it off like we always do.
EDIT: To clarify, I will not be a player in this game.
Participat ed in: Pitboss 40 (lurked by Mr. Cairo), Pitboss 45 (lurked by Charriu and chumchu), Pitboss 63 (replaced Mr. Cairo), Pitboss 66, Pitboss 69, Pitboss 74
Participat ing in: Pitboss 78 (lurked by GT), Pitboss 79 (lurking giraflorens), Pitboss 81 (lurking giraflorens), Pitboss 83 (lurking Krill)
Criticism welcome!

To clarify. The main reason we normally leave Vassals off is because with it the game applies an extra maintenance step for colonies. I disabled this extra maintenance in CtH, so Vassal States only gives those extra diplo options without any other gameplay ramifications. I also changed it so that humans can become vassals.
I see no reason not to play with vassals. Right now it's only one more diplo option.

Can add to the voting spreadsheet when the time comes. That being said, in a diplo game I'll vote yes.

Just to be clear. I strongly assume this is a 'no I won't play".
But we have at least 6 players now which is enough for a game. Still more than enough time for others to join

what if we just launched with 6 civs and kept it sequential? That's one possible, exploitable silver lining of not having a large roster
