I think the best ending would be Commodore winning. What a story that would be. Awesome

Am I missing something, those galleys have at most 4 move right?
EDIT: I misread, the attack is in two turns. I'm curious if the defenders at the capital can cover both cities, based on what SD still has in the area.

This game is a roller coaster. I think a lot will depend on what Ginger does and how well. I think this game has shown time and time again why collateral is so important but in dealing damage, but also in this last case of mitigating damage.

This has been the best game to lurk on this forum for ages. The different starts. The weird strategies. The betrayals. The maneuvers. The wild swings. And now the grind and the gore. This is what I love about civ 4.

SD being bold as hell keeping those cities without knowing what is going on. I think* Amica holds Go To Heaven; nauf just doesn't have the cannon he would need and assuming Amica's mini stack is 5 cannons can at least force a retreat I think.

It's funny to me that Nauf has yet to figure out that Comm is not saying he wants to attack Ginger in X turns, he's saying he expects Ginger to attack him in X turns.

Man, I love how no one in this game ever thinks they're in a strong position.

rofl, true statement.
SD keeping those cities might let Amica back into this in 10 turns. However it might be a good thing he took peace. Not only for the huge gold transfer, but also because it lets him shift his army west and either prevent Ginger going after Commodore or vulture Ginger while Ginger seeks revenge. Mind, that is if SD knows / cares peace treaty is about to expire for Ginger and Commodore.

For all the critic that Superdeath sometimes gets for getting out of conflicts early, I think this peace deal is a good one. He saw that he couldn't make any more gains and took what he could get. Staying in the conflict any longer would mostly have benefitted naufragar. And they at least put a break on Amicalola's development.
