Ill let ya know a rough ETA, next turn.
NEXT turn.... ill let ya know. (when i settle my next city and roughly see my expenses, and go from there)
1 source of iron, and its not in the.... best place. If that source of pindi's is his only source... id be REAL peeeeeeeeeeeved.
All these power hungry guys... i swear, why cant we just have a peaceful tech-filled Pitboss for once?
This will rise as soon as i get the Gems hooked up, and hopefully eventually the Ivory. I should win the ivory tile so long as pindi doesnt put some sort of weird Drama/music line building in that city.
Due to low happy faces, and the need to build a bit more military... my production is somehow #1 in the world.
Now here is a thought experiment. Who's Real-Gnp is higher? Mine or Cornflakes? Probably Cornflakes if im being honest, but with his huge military, i have to HOPE that this is all specialists and isnt sustainable.
Even though i have the lowest military, and i have the threat of Cataphracts on the horizon.. I dont see basically any of my neighbors attacking me. Outside of maybe a poke here, a poke there. Cornflakes seems pretty content to just take bites out of the weaker/appropriately? named SaC, Pindi looks poised to help himself to a bite of Bing with Mjmd when Bing attacks Mjmd in a few turns with an axe stack, so maybe i can gandhi my way to a huge tech advantage?

2 workers. 6 chariots. 1 axe. Also, declared war on SaC to try and slip 3 chariots thru his lands to attempt to take my capital. Is he trying to throw BOTH of our games? I was already planning on teching HBR for security/eventually needing it for knights anyway, but fuck you dude. For a city 5-6 tiles from my capital? Eat my ass.
Didnt i say several times that anytime i try and NOT be the aggressive one that i get targeted/rushed/ect? Cant blame me for what comes.
(yes i was running a bit low on military, i DO realize that.. but still this attack is a bit stupid as all it does it provoke me. Yeah it will slow me down from Cataphracts, but i dont NEED guilds to ruin his game.

Preparing to either defend in 6t, or take that city back. Lots of whips/chops coming.. Gotta get more than just me to stop the Cornflakes monster. I cant quite comfortably tech my way to victory. Not until Cornflakes is at least slow down. Sadly, i under-produced military, and SaC has been giving free cities away, so... Thats a thing. Wish my wars went that easy.

Pindi is in a golden age atm, and i dont think its Cornflakes that is teching currently.. So im likely tied with a GA boosted 10 city Pindi. Not bad for someone who is uh, prepping.
Also im less than 5t away from having the ivory on the border with pindi.. Wonder how he will take that (he just got done improving it.. maybe he will road it for me too?
Im building plenty of military as Bing also for SOME REASON, has a bunch of units in his border cities with me. Ive been nothing but friendly with him. Thinking about having a road built towards him so i can send some sort of fish/fish towards him. Maybe he is checked out or wanting to be a troll like he did in our last game together? I know picking Byzantium AND Darius was a rather bold move and put a target on my head, but id really hope that out of all my neighbors, Bing shouldnt be tempted THAT much to also attack me.
I put Cornflakes at a 95% chance of attacking me, Pindi at a 50% chance, SaC at a 20% chance and bing at 10% chance of doing so. So, archers/spears/ect are being built and after currency im grabbing HBR-MC-beeline for knights. Im not planning on dying easily this game when i worked hard to get an early shrine and made myself a tech leader with Byzantium starting techs. Not gonna happen. Cornflakes will be shown no mercy for the frankly other-wordly aggression he has shown this entire game, culminating in his massive attack on me. We could have effectively split the world together. But nah, piss in my cereal at your own peril.

Depending on what cornflakes does, i will either move the 3 axes plus spear onto the forest and pretend like its just to steal the forest away before slamming the city with at least 10 chariots (hopefully, if he doesnt add more spears/ect) I need the city to prevent him from having super easy access to basically everything. I can defend it this time. His completely unexpected (and basically making sure i hate his guts this game) move to bypass SaC and go after me after attempting to get a military alliance with me, i dont like those kinds of folks.
Unless i get dogpiled, ill make it to Cataphracts. I doubt i wont be able to find a target with them.

Cornflakes built walls this turn, and in a fit of rage i sent my chariots in.
at least half of those did 0 damage to the spear. I will say i made some bad choices in this game, and YES... i know that going Darius of Byzantium paints a hell of a target on me.. but i still want to put up SaC being the neighbor lottery and pinata that gave Cornflakes the straight up audacity to run chariots THRU HIS LAND, and try and decapitate me, while going to war with me over a city 5 tiles away from mine.
Im so angry at the turn of events in this pitboss that it damn near makes me never want to go for any long-term strategy again. It never works. Ever. I get rushed or attacked early. Every. Fucking. Time. Thanks for making me realize this Ol' Cornflakes Ol' pal. I guarantee you will not win this PB providing my neighbors dont also try and attack me.
