I meant to post that it was a bad idea earlier, what help is that one extra turn? Even if you did use caste it would get you back into slavery one turn sooner...and that's about it, right?

That's about it. I sometimes post ideas here before I think them through, and this was a good example of that.

Mjmd Knight Tracker is up to 7:
He is not pushing farther into SucksatCiv, at least not yet. Perhaps he is too wary to get involved in another war when he knows I'm on his other flank. Either way, he has evened the city count with us now.
Superdeath spawned a great general, but he spawned it on the previous turn after I played, which means it happened on Cornflakes' half of things. I wonder why Superdeath would go in now, knowing I am in forced peace. Or perhaps that is what the whole reload thing was all about. That is a bit more nebulous than some of the scenarios I was considering earlier.
I'm trying to prepare best for starting Castle builds everywhere on t161 when we finish Engineering. So there is less focus on Courthouses and more on Forges and Walls. (Though there are only a few cities left that could even want a Courthouse.) That is also the turn we start the golden age, so the hope is that we will be able to get Guils and Banking off the back of the GA and relieve my cities off of Wealth Builds and onto what they need to produce.
Another reason I'm showing this picture is to show the culture problem rearing its ugly head again. I'm losing tiles to Superdeath in the west. Nothing huge yet, though the 3f lake at Carcassone would be very nice to be working.
I might have gone a little too light on Wealth builds this turn; next turn we'll turn on the slider and see what needs adjusting.

3 days between turns, pretty standard stuff for this game...
Not a lot to report, except we whipped 2 Courthouses and that somehow dropped our costs by 20gpt. It should have only done half of that going off the city maintenance numbers displayed in each city - but perhaps I'm forgetting to look at Inflation. Oh yeah, I could see how if Inflation is getting high then I've been way off in how i prioritize courthouses this game. We're on pace for Eng at end of t160 still. Will have a few forges completed by then too.
Cornflakes offered us Fish for Fish. I ignored it.

Meanwhile, SD thinks Cornflakes is up to no good:
There has been a chariot roaming my border with Mjmd. I'm not too worried about Cornflakes hitting Clank, but if he moves his knights through Mjmd's territory and tries to hit Catan right now ... our center is soft for the next few turns as we've been pumping wealth. Engineering will help solve that quite a bit.
In the meantime, I sent Cornflakes a Fish for Fish back:

Mjmd is moving up more units as SucksatCiv has moved everything into the city.
I count 11 knights, 9 elephants, and 16 catapults, among other units.
In the north I need to move some units into Dixit, as it now is at risk from two-movers. That will probably be where I move my northern army to.
We finished Engineering at end of turn, and received our great prophet. I turned off the slider after and removed all our wealth builds to better judge where the economy is at:
Castle builds first? Or perhaps I should start with a round of pikemen & whip them out?
