You make a good point, Charriu.

We got Buddhism, and I immediately changed our state religion

I probably should've waited until I need it, but eh. Doubt it does much harm. After a very cursory look at the micro, I decided I could go for Agriculture before Priesthood. We're not putting hammers into Oracle for another 9 turns anyway, and I think I can get to Priesthood by then. Wish I could get Pottery in that time frame, but it doesn't work.

Next turn will be fun as both our cities pop borders.

And for the record, Gingerlito now know Bing (as well as Magic Science) and they're still only putting EP into me. troll

Hope they stop once they get graphs. Otherwise this EP spending can only be described as "very rude"

It has gone beyond "very rude" and straight into "unkind."

I actually had a moment where I thought they moved EP off me, so I put some points into Commodore. Turns out that was just their anarchy turn. nono They have 0 points into Bing their closer neighbor. I mean, I'm not an idiot (I hope). I understand the message they're trying to send me. They want to fight. So be it. (You know you're behaving erratically when you're making Superdeath look like a diplomatic bedrock.)

If I can survive whatever it is they're planning, I'll try to get some Shock Axes down that way as soon as feasible.

But notice that Magic Science has also started putting points into us. I don't know where he is, which is worrying, plus he played last in order and didn't roll a double turn:

Is he thinking about whacking our scout?

I've moved the scout onto the same tile:

If Magic is where I guess he is, his warrior should be teleported north if he declares war, which would buy us a turn. Not a huge deal, but I'm not sure what Magic is playing at. Nakedly hostile Ginger, weirdly-behaving Magic, the ever restless Commodore. Not a pleasant neighborhood for a little ole wonderbuiding peacenik like me.

But it's like that throughout. Note the geography here:

In 100 turns, 3 players are going to have cities just a quick galley ride away from each other on this coast. Expect fireworks.

As someone who usually forgets like the 3rd player in for EPs I will mention that some people just forget to switch EP spending.

Huh. Hadn't realized it was turn 50. Not so much to report, except Magic is getting a bit close. (His warrior is on the same tile as my scout:

He shouldn't be able to do any real damage with a warrior poke, but he would slow down our oracle timing.

(But of course, I'll rant and rave if he pokes because that would be wacky.)

Otherwise, an uneventful turn 50. Settler for 3rd city about to be born. He'll go south to settle near our horses.

If Magic makes a peaceful sort of move, I can complete a barracks in Ankh-Morpork with the chop. But if his warrior stays on my border, the chop has to go into the spear.

A nasty thought occurred to me when I saw that two people know Sailing. As of now, I wouldn't be prepared if Commodore whipped a galley from his second city. Well, one threat at a time.

That's a lot of forests in Ankh-Morpork (and your area in general). How much do you wish you rolled India?

Magic Science still buzzing, and again played last without double moving:

I thought about putting a turn into an axe to make our cows completely safe, but with overflow that would be 25 hammers and I don't want to take away from the Oracle.

To more seriously answer the "maybe Gingerlito just forgot about EP" thought, they're both logging in, which means they're communicating between themselves. We're now well past the point where one of them would be curious about Bing's graphs. This is deliberate. frown Why always me?  alright
