We got 2 random spreads of Judaism. And have to spread Hinduism manually everywhere - if anything, these Judaism spreads mean we may have to build more missionaries, as they could fail. Thanks, game
We could flip over to Judaism while we're still in golden age, but I do think keeping holy city culture in See-Scape is worthwhile. Even though it no longer looks like we will flip Thoth's horses, the tile stabilised at 51/48 culture. And we're currently at 2 Hindu and 3 Judaism cities, with hammers invested into 2 more missionaries, don't think flipping makes much sense at this point
Thoth finishes Construction next turn - we'll see how long it takes him to prepare a new attack (assuming he's planning one)

Huh. I thought CtH got rid of the failure chance, but I guess not. Eh. All part of the game, I guess.
I misread. CtH did get rid of the failure chance.

But I only got rid of the failure chance when spreading to your own cities.

Honestly thought that was intentional. Chance of failure when spreading to foreign cities which already have a religion makes sense to me

So where do we stand on the last turn of the golden age?
We have religion, running HR and OR, finished researching Monarchy, and about to finish HBR this turn. The capital and See-Scape are at size 8, growing to 9. Gruul Smash was also at 8, but I had to dry-whip a trireme upon seeing Commodore's one in Yellow Comet. Losing the Gruul Smash fish would be inconvenient
The general plan with these 3 cities is to grow to about 10, work coast as needed, and start re-employing specialists as we grow past 10
Big Red Dragons I'm still happy to keep at size 7. Technically it could grow bigger and work some coast, but to make it worthwhile I would need to build a lighthouse, a health building, ideally moai statues to make coastal tiles contribute to production, and probably throw in a library as well. All in all, a huge investment, when it's quite happy sitting at 7 and working all the surrounding production tiles. If we really need it to contribute to economy, it can build wealth once we have Currency. The immediate plan is to start working on horse archers next turn. Thanks to the resident great general, we can start straight away, not needing stables to make the horse archers double-promoted
Boros Burn is still developing, and probably doesn't have enough tiles to ever be as big as the core cities. But it is doing its part
This is also the first turn when we see fewer than 10 praetorians
3 in the capital, 3 on the bananas, and one in Hard Luck. Miguelito's power graph is also showing a small dip this turn. Maybe there's some fighting going on between them. I will keep an eye on the situation, and see if an opportunity opens up for us

Oh also, Commodore's archer on the hill 2N of Boros Burn is guerilla 2, we cannot kill it off easily. Not that we need to, if it's just a defensive archer, he can just chill there. If he tries to park a big stack on the hill, we send in the catapults (which Commodore can see, so he probably won't)

Played the turn on the laptop in preparation for holiday. So no screenshots today, and I don't think I will include many screenshots over my 2 weeks away, unless something major happens. Sorry in advance for upcoming shoddy reporting
In any case, not much happening in our corner right now - the big news comes from abroad, as according to the power graph Commodore again lost a chunk of units. I'm keeping an eye on the situation, our horse archer production has started, and Commodore's cities on the border with us are fairly lightly defended. He probably has a big stack in position to react if we invade, and we have to stay safe against Thoth, so I'm still being patient and staying put for now. But if his power keeps dropping over the next couple turns, that could change
Set research to Currency, will take about 7 turns at the current rate
A minor milestone, but See-Scape is our first city to reach size 10

Commodore's power graph dip from last turn
He's back to rebuilding right away - doesn't look like there's a major opportunity. Thoth's graph growth is also noteworthy, although I haven't seen him build any catapults yet - looks like it's still all about praets
Miguelito researched Aesthetics - does he have eyes on Heroic Epic, Music great artist, or some of the wonders along that path? In any case, we're not looking in that direction yet, Currency into Machinery is the plan
