I distinctly remembered otherwise and a quick Worldbuilder test somehow supported me last turn, so now the plan is disrupted. This could be bad, but I could just spend the gold on upgrading Horse Archers to Knights instead. Previously, the plan was to keep building Archers after Feudalism and get Longbows by upgrading. It's like building 2 Longbows for the production cost of one! So long as you have enough gold. Or so I thought.
How does queue-upgrading work, again? Horse Archers being trained on the last turn before Guilds WILL NOT FINISH, right? Like even if it reads (1 turn) for a Horse Archer, it will resolve to a Knight with more than 50/90 hammers invested already, correct?
you get production into knigs , yes

Thanks mack.
Fun Fact: Out of all 8 of us, Pindicator is the only player who has not yet lost a city. Superdeath has the lesser distinction of not having permanently lost a city, because Gavagai did not raze Nibru, and Superdeath got it back later. Everyone else has had 1 or more cities razed or otherwise permanently lost. It's a violent world out there.

Naufragar you devious little dog. .
He named what must have been a Chariot "Knight" and destroyed a Worker of mine, so the message "Your Worker was destroyed by Spanish Knight" appeared in the Event Log. Very very very clever. You got me for about 45 seconds, very very clever. I really mean it. That was a devious trick. But I know you didn't have Feudalism when I got it, or Guilds when I got it, and I have been watching your gold, so you can't have been trailing me like that. And I know your "Knight" could not have retreated from where my Worker was, and would you really use a Knight and delete it just to kill one superfluous Worker? Would you?
NICE TRY! I still have the advantage of Knights after all.
I have not reported the last few turns because this is also exam week, not a good combination. But I just had to report this right away, even mid-turn as the timer runs. It was too clever and funny to leave for a stilted hindsight report.
Again, I really mean it, that was a great trick. I will remember this. I will think about renaming all my own REAL ACTUAL NON-FAKE Knights "Cavalry" in response.
I am suppressing my laughter in the middle of the night over this.

Also the guy doesn't deserve his avatar and signature with how many binding Peace Treaties he offers.

" 1030 AD: While defending, your Indra was destroyed by a Spanish Knight!" Sure, whatever you say, buddy.
Indra was a Worker located 1N of Iago.
And why is it still a "Spanish" Knight? Naufragar edited all the fields for his civilization; "Hosavian Empire", "Wretched".

I think Pindicator is plotting against me. And I mean an immediate plot. What are your Knights doing in Commodore’s territory near mine? Maybe you thought I wasn’t paying attention there?

If nothing else, he prompted you to report

He did. I will make some manner of catch-up report and then stay back on track with my reports from now on soon.
And with Gavagai and the Celts eliminated, our turn pace is outrageous. I play a double-turn in the evening, and 24 hours later I am last to play and would have played another double-turn except for that I declared war. . Crazy.
