Seven won a game by building one Impi. But what games have players tried this and failed?
I wonder what SDs' land is like. I think he has three 4/1 sheep and a 4/2 cow at the capital and there is a 4/2 cow south of Cherry that he could have settled for, and what other resources? I only have two 4/2 cows and a 3/3 cow: the two flood plains gives 2 food more than farmed grassland at Apple so I'm not convinced that that is game breaking on this map.
The point is that if SD has looked at my terrain and thought it is significantly better than his, then objectively, is he right? I think what everyone misses is the flood plain valley can only feed about 4 plains tiles and the rest are plains hills, and there is no other food in this area. If he had two more food resources in the fog I think his lands might be slightly better from a food perspective but worse from a cottage perspective (how many two food tiles does he have to cottage? How many plains tiles and grass hill tiles could be cottage, based off availabaility and excess food to feed them?).
So what compelled him to think the Keshik rush was the right move? Was it greed based off a cognitive dissonance? SD is actually a really poor builder and constantly misjudges how to play openings. Fear, that I'd come and ruin his game? I doubt it, because I don't think SD recognises fear in terms of CIV. Or have I misread this completely and he is planning to attack Yuri?
