Yup, risengarde are very nice for what they are. Still what I consider too late for most UU, but having reached them, I feel very good about having a strong counter to rifles and in the meanwhile Bing's musketmen aren't a worry at all.

He's hanging out behind the city there, ceding initiative to me which is nice. I'll waddle in once the healing is done, that'll be a good twenty risengarde at that point, which can confidently take on two knights each before worrying about dying. It's close, but unless he gets crazy-good catapult hits, I think my stack can soak his.

Just building up. I'm being careful with him doing an end-run with a thousand knights, but everything I see looks like he's just massing while I counter-mass. I'm really ready for this dang thing to be done, this is slow. Once we blow out the stack vs stack, it'll be very fast.

Oh of course not, that'll trade very efficiently, it's G2. My G2 muskets and risengarde are a horror to clear.

I think I'm going to be sick. This is going to be very, very gross.

Do you have raw numbers on both sides by any chance? Following your counts is a bit harder due to it cropping under the UI.

Bing:
42 Knights
18 Catapults
12 War Elephants
5 Pikes
5 Longbows
3 Axes
2 Trebuchets
2 Muskets
...so 89 units, 69 hitters (nice).
Commodore:
28 Risengarde
17 Catapults
16 Knights
8 Horse Archers
8 Longbows
7 Pikes
6 Workers
2 War Elephant
2 Muskets
1 Axe
1 Archer
...so that's 98 units, 75 hitters (ish).

It's basically down to how much the trash soaks, sims are all over the place and the promotion dance makes this kind of a nightmare. Straight units, not messing with promos, sees a Bing first strike as killing 15 grens, 5 pikes, 4 knights, 4 longbows, 3 cats, all at the cost of 29 knights, 5 war elephants, 2 pikes, and 5 longbows. Which is BRUTAL, but does leave me winning in the end.

Again, getting serious PB66 flashbacks here. The good news is that Bing's promotions are more set up to fight others, with not that many pinch. Those knights are still going to hurt though.

E: I think I spent over an hour on the pivotal fight agaisnt Alhazard there, and that was after simming and Vodka to decide if going in was worth it.
