I think you want to push the GA chain as long as you can. All these benefits snowball so get them in as fast as you can. Sucks to have to redo the GP plan but hopefully it just moves everything up and you don't have to change types too much. Or at worst you have a free GA to bomb someone with

Ya I think its the right thing to do.

I was somewhat trying to be funny with having to redo the GP plan. You are correct that the worst thing that will have happened is I've moved up my 2nd GA. Looking back at my GP plan it might actually vastly accelerate 3rd if I pop a scientist instead of an artist as honestly capital might be faster at another GP than Braw Sailings merchant (capital as stated will have national epic after parthenon).

That is another reason to continue GA is just to keep those extra org hammers flowing in main wonder producing cities. Sure other cities don't have religion and aren't getting benefit from extra hammers. But earlier hammers and tech seem fine as I'm pretty sure I have more GAs coming.

I'm like 3 turns? from Parthenon. My chops have not been "timed" so I don't waste them. Rather its a situation I'm fine turning them into gold for GA. So ya 3/4 of my capitals precious forests are gone with last due next turn.

I have a LONG build on Paya started at WheretoGoJohnny.

I'm hopeful for Parthenon in particular, but also fine with fail gold for both.

Something I've been thinking about today in light of getting Artist and probably should ask pin about is actually putting National Epic in Roots in order to accelerate the next GE there. I want Notre Dame both for happy and engineer points, but engineers even with America UB are hard to produce on a schedule. Obviously this would insert a small chance of artist into the pool though............ But when have I EVER lost a roll on a key GP   (hint its actually an insanely high % of my games its come up).


I'll do some loose math tonight, but SUSPECT*** I'll end up changing plan and putting national epic in Roots in order for engineer for Taj.

Before things go south lets do some graphs ect. Note I didn't rename the city in graphs, but did for demos. To note I took after I had ended turn as decided with no PB66 turn why not report.



Light hand on the whip means my population is finally catching up to my food. You'll see this gradual uptick in the graphs.

Food is good. BTW while I'm thinking of it Charriu has 3 cities he could settle but hasn't which is interesting. 



Again, some of this is culture and some of it was gold from Charriu, but descent bit is pop growth onto new cottages, and also some courthouses.



Production. I'm honestly trying to figure out what the second bumb is in my production. Maybe a couple finishing forges? 



I have to figure out national epic soon........... I can max two pop whip Market in Roots next turn with org religion and still decide another turn down the line. My fear is if I put it in Mandalay it will actually produce great people TOO fast. Mind you I can stop working great people there and give away some of the food, which isn't the worst use of a epic.

I blame Pin for not catching this............ Notre Dame is artist points. I certainly could never have checked myself at any point. I therefore gave up my 14 turn lovely overflow build in Roots to start a 24 turn build in Mandalay and instead am 4 turning national epic in Roots and hoping not to get punished..............

D'oh. I should have caught that. I had a bit of a plumbing issue in the days before I flew to Alaska, so I have fallen off this thread. But I'm back now! Hope everything is going well

I haven't really been updating, but to be fair not much has been happening. Despite being in a GA for past 22 turns I seem to be behind Scooter in tech. Even with my deviations to top of tree and engineering I would expect not to be THAT far behind in tech, but somehow I am. I'm behind education and phil. IE he is researching lib right now, which I KNOW because I have a huge courthouse advantage, which again begs the question on how I'm so far behind on tech.
