CoM version 1.5.0, looking for a few testers

Confirmed, it was accidentally set to halve nonmagical ammo instead of magical ammo. This will be fixed in the next upload.

I've disabled the generic unit for the next version, and yes, non-generic settlers should work. But you have to set the building prerequisites to something impossible otherwise they'll show up in city production too.

After reading some steam posts, I'm adding this feature to the next upload, let me know what you think, is it a good idea? Is that the appropriate level of difficulty for the threshold? ...maybe I should put it into Modding.INI instead.

Finally had time to test conjunctions, these are the changes for the next upload :

Text will be shortened to fit the window
Nature and Life conjunctions will look at the base type of the unit instead of current, so undead or chaos channelled normal will benefit from Life but not Nature conjunctions. Death still looks at the current type though so you can counter the resistance loss by Undead and Chaos Channels.
Nature conjunction will now affect Death creatures
The two events that affect unit stats will now immediately force a stat recalculation on every unit
Moved refill of unit movement points after rolling for random events so Good Moon's extra 1 movement applies immediately instead of a turn later

Finally, I've added a new folder "Casapi".
This contains a DLL file with all gameplay functions of the game.
I'm not sure if this should be included in the update or not.
Would anyone use it?
Does it even work? It's completely untested but it was compiled from literally the same source files as the game itself so at least in theory it should.
Assuming I did everything correctly, the game's UI works 100% through these functions as well (compiled internally into caster.exe) which means the DLL files should be enough to recreate CoM with a new UI, possibly even one that allows multiplayer or is of a different language. But that's just a theory and I'm not the one who'll find out he truth on this matter smile

Sounds about right to me, though I also wonder how much the AI targeting heroes actually raises difficulty? Sure, Crack's Call and the like can be quite annoying, but sometimes the hero is strong enough that casting spells on them actually helps the rest of the army win easily. Also, the hero can also be used as a "disposable lightning rod" to distract the AI if a player is clever enough.

Definitely agree about making the bonus priority for targeting heroes moddable though, probably should also include modding other sorts of bonus priorities if possible.

Also, if it's not too much trouble, may I request implementing a flag that will allow spell targeting for custom spells to specifically exclude heroes, regular units, or summons? I think that's one of the few remaining limitations for custom buffs and curses, in particular.

the NonHero flag is already included.
Picking the "normal unit buff" and "normal unit curse" spell groups should work for "Nonsummon".

I think the last graphic needed is Treeman - and I already started drawing him, unless you have something cool already.
