The best I can contribute is that 20+ cities per player (what 59 was) is all very fun until someone inevitably ends up with 100+ and hating their winning position. Cramped maps will always produce frustration for some early on, but if a kind that seems more bearable to me.
Suggestion for alternate victory condition: Assuming the map ends up something similar to PB59 with multiple continents; the first player to fully control two continents wins? Gives the other players incentive to interfere as well.

I wouldn't say "cramped" is ideal either, but part of the control is actually having a natural(ish) map so that MAX ICS isn't going to be producing a billion cities per mile.

This would be the fourth (maybe thrid) cIV game and than 2 ciV games.
Still, I think I can do that. Maybe not with regular updates, but I should be able to play.
And I add an advertisment over at civforum.de.

Find a partner, see if you can rustle up any other old blood for us.

Hi, I am interested in joining. Would be my first CtH PB (and I've just started playing some SP games with the mod), if you don't mind a "beginner".
I'm from the German Civforum with some (limited) PB experience there.

Any chance for barbs to be Off?
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. Oh hell I didn't realize events were on, I'm out. I can live with barbs, but not events.

Are these CtH nerfed events? If so, they're fine.
Gotta have barbs, man. Twists the balance even more in favor of the simmers, otherwise.
Edit: And welcome, GT!
