Here is the mod we'll use for this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x5om2blg53elvdq/RB73.zip?dl=1
Thanks to Charriu for slicing this out! This mod should include: * PBSpy utilities/changes to make PB run more smoothly that is standard in all games now * BUG/BUFFY UI options * Removed Emancipation Unhappiness There's also some of the extra game settings CtH added but won't be used. Or put another way, this is CtH without any of the CtH balance changes, except for the Emancipation change. There should otherwise be no gameplay or balance changes.
So after reading all the discussion about espionage, I think I'm in favour of either banning it outright or banning active espionage. To be honest it just doesn't seem like it adds a whole lot to the experience.
My play window will be 0100 to 0500 GMT. That being said, I think it would be a pretty good idea to try and arrange one or two times we can all be online at the same time and push through most of the early sequential turns at once. To me that's pretty much any time on most weekends. I'd like to get the sequential turns over with quickly because my rl schedule might be getting really hectic soon, and while I'm pretty confidant I can play during my window every day, I'd prefer the flexibility of simultaneous as soon as possible edit: nevermind, misunderstood
I think it would be the other way around, the early turns would be simultaneous and then later switch to sequential.
Right, it's start simultaneous and then convert to sequential. Is that going to be a problem?
Also, seems like banning active espionage missions has enough support that we'll do that. Passive espionage will still be a factor of course, but we'll disallow doing active missions.
OK, I"m OK with banning active espionage if that's what people want.
Question about converting to sequential- is it possible to change the turn window later if we have to?
Anyone in need of dedlurker, this sounds fun?
Completed: pb38, pb40, pb41, pb42, pb46 and pb49
