For simming purposes, is the map size small? and is everyone starting with a scout, or is it normal BtS starting units?

Formal map size is small.
Since this is supposed to be close to unmodded BtS I was assuming scouts only for hunting civs, but if I misunderstood now is the time to say so. Map is likely to be finished tonight.
