Very frustrating with the board problems. Sorry I couldn't get the last couple turns of the report.

Argh, not again! That's super frustrating. I was having problems with Quick Edit to fix typos in one of my posts earlier today too. For what it's worth, if you want to post something and it isn't working, if you e-mail me with the text and links to the pictures, I'll try to post it for you....
[EDIT: There's an e-mail link on my profile page, but if the whole forum is being annoying, you can send it directly to me without going through RB at all; my username at the same e-mail domain used by everybody and his cat is OrionCiv]

Okay, I see I'm ~up, but if DaveV or SpaceOWL or someone else would like to step in for ten turns, please just say so! If not, my basic plan will be: Tech toward further expansion while moving more pop forward and building factories, then react to whatever curveball the AI or a random event inevitably throws our way! My tech plans remain approximately the same as what I posted above, intending to probably take NPG > ions > fusion bomb > hyper-x unless something (such as giant fleets of Alkari smalls and mediums) makes me move e.g. hyper-x with its +1 targeting further up the preference list. Similarly, Personal Deflector > Shield 3 unless it looks like we're going to be threatened by heavy lasers, and RC3 >>> Battle Computer unless there's somehow a really desperate need for the latter (or for ECM, e.g. if someone's fielding big fleets of bombers with good space cover and lousy targeting).
Let me know what you think!

Looks like good turns.
The comments about pop are entirely fair. I somehow failed to remember that Growth was Fertile for the entire of my set. I don't quite know how I managed that, particularly given the name ... .

I was wanting to see how you guys were doing, but I can't get the file to load for some reason. I've rename is SAVE1, but somehow its loading an entirely different game when I try to load it. And I know its the right file because of the timestamp.

I usually replace SAVE7 and do a "continue". The patches that provide additional autosaves mess with the other loading slots (do you have games with numbers > 7?).

Save is normal here.
Looks good! One rich maxed, the other in 2 turns (using 90BC reserve), Meklon 90/360 goes full researching...
Now... first vote close to 2360, and we still have no contact. In a medium map that's 32 colonies, we have scouted 10 more, so only 6 left.
That's 5 colonies per AI in average, which is a lot - especially without silicoids in the game.
It would be nice to know (as long as the forum allows haphazard1 to post normally...) the number of votes for each AI to see who is running away - probably the birds...

Still having trouble with posts. Votes were:
Alkari vote for themselves (6 votes)
Darloks abstain (3 votes)
Klackons abstain (3 votes)
Bulrathi abstain (5 votes)
Sakkra abstain (3 votes)
We have 5 votes. Due to our variant we can not vote for the Alkari, so I abstain.

So the birds and the bears are the largest, other than ourselves. But we are comparable in total pop.

No, my highest is 6. That's why I renamed it to 1.
