Don't have the strongest feelings there. Do you mean his current cities or future? I find it hard to justify building the palace, I'm interested in what effect it had.
More importantly, I don't understand why he'd attack Rome instead of Bing - Rome is awkward geographically and exposes him on every side. Bing is the leading player - surely you'd attack him, especially before he can get to strong techs.
Erebus in the Balance - a FFH Modmod based around balancing and polishing FFH for streamlined competitive play.
Just huge gaps, very little tile sharing.

In other news, got around to watching Bing's update, I love it. "As you can see, I'm building the Parthenon...not really quite sure what the Parthenon does, but I'm building it..."
I don't think he's so far ahead of the field because of Civac, I think he's miles ahead of the field because of his 15 flood plains villages and towns.

As I posted in Bing's thread, I would deny the reload request if it were up to me, but I don't feel strongly about it and can see the argument that we can allow it for a greens game. (Leaving aside the fact that it doesn't matter in the slightest ... and that Bing either posted the wrong screenshot or miscounted the cataphracts or [something else where I missed something obvious].)
If you agree they should play on, please consider this post my unequivocal support. If you disagree and think I'm all wet, please consider me swayed by your argument and giving unequivocal support to the decision you make. If you think I shouldn't have posted what I did in Bing's thread, please let me know; I feel like I'm out of touch on the current state of RB MP culture, which is why I tend to mostly just play historian-of-questions-like-this when a question comes up....
Greenline's full arc in the last few days of:
* I should spook Bing into whipping * HAHA it's working * Oops it worked too well maybe? (edit: this was crossposted with him swinging back towards "It's Good Actually" which is probably right) Has been amazing to watch. Bing is definitely 100% sold. He shouldn't be because why would greenline let him know in advance like this for no reason, but that's neither here nor there, plus preparing for the worst makes sense in his position anyway. Also enjoyed his most recent video of him talking while running vodka calculations off screen, and then the video abruptly cutting off as he apparently realizes his mistake that spawned the reload mini-saga.
Xist is toast it seems. Full on 3v1 incoming, and I'm not sure even Praetorians will be enough to help.

That's a lot of hill cottages there in Rome...
