It's just occurred to me that by acquiring 3 cties from Xist, plus room for 2 fillers, I may have acquired more land (though not as good) as Greenline has.
Just started my second Golden Age as Greenline's ends, tho maybe he has a 3rd i nthe works as I do. Mine are longer thanks to Maussolos but I have to stay intact for 24 turns to use both in full...
He's researching Replaceable Parts (in 3 turns) but doesn't have Gunpowder. Also isn't pushing into xist further. Got open borders and world map trade with Aetryn, so I spied on his cities.



Now that we're both in GA, we have equal GDP stat.

Researched Music for the Great Artist, also made 1 bank with another 11 under construction. Greenline has built like 3 settlers for the north region. Everyone is back to greeding for now but Greenline isn't very far from Rifling.

greenline is not gunning for grens, cannons or rifles from what I can see - now he's going Scientific method.
I get Nationalism next turn but Aetryn (?) already has it, hopefully my Great Engineer can get me the Taj Mahal

Greenline has a tech lead and more land than me, so I think he will win. He gets machine gun tech just a couple of turns after I get cannons. Still, let's see how things play out.

Good luck. One QoL thing I wanted to point out: instead of shift clicking individual units into your stack, you can use use alt to select all units on a tile, or ctrl to select all units of one type, combined with shift.

I'm at 1.3 force ratio to Greenline, but am a few turns away from Machine Guns unline him. So I'm attacking a western area with 1 good town a 1 medium town which I think he can't reinforce enough over sea, while hoping that Aetryn will attack him and also that he won't be able to attack on the main border where I have cannons etc. waiting. Also he got mining corp and has twice my prod.
