If you're starving down a city for GP, do you get the GP points for a specialist that gets starved off? So like if you have size 10 city with 10 hired scientist specialists that starves down to size 9, does that city generate 30 specialist points or 27?

Pretty sure not. The citizen disappears before it produces anything else. You do get the beakers, since that happens civ-wide before any per-city processing, but everything else including GPP happens within the city after the citizen disappears.

Fun fact: thanks to Rep, the beakers I generate from all those specialists will total up to about 2200, over a quarter of the total amount I have to generate to get to and complete chemistry

In other news, Scooter has 1500 gold saved up which I worry is for an astronomy push. Even then, my best estimates of his current research would put him ~15 turns out, but one weakness of the above plan is it means I can’t double bulb astro until t116

The CY gap is quickly narrowing and with more land his GNP will catch up eventually as well
