Confirmed, the crash happens when Ariel tries to move to the tile 2,96,54 which does not exist (the plane is only 95 tiles wide). There probably is some part in the code where the looping between the map (from tile 95 to tile 1) fails to activate. I'll have to search for what causes this but considering the location it seems to be 99% certain it is a boat movement problem.
...edit : or not, it looks like a plane changing bug, the moving units are some settlers standing on a tower on the other plane. I thought this was fixed in the previous update? I have to check again.

Found the problem.
There are some settlers on a tower that's near a shore with a boat.
The settlers use the tower to change plane but also try to board the boat on their previous plane due to some outdated data which causes the crash.

I've fixed this, I'll look through the lower priority bug reports some time next week then push an update.

It should work fine after the update unless there are other problems.
I was able to reach the next turn after fixing that bug, there is nothing wrong in the save data because the game did crash before the units reached the invalid position.

(if you had any armies nearby, you could even prevent it by killing the army on the tower but it was quite far as far as I remember)

I tried different things to get her to do something else (declare war for instance but to no avail smile)

I am new to this forum so sorry for the newbie questions: where will updates be announced?

There is a tread on the forum where I usually post the changlog from updates when I send them to the publisher. (usually only major updates though, not smaller bug fix patches)
It usually takes 3-14 days after that for the update to go live.

Not sure if this considered as bug or not but recently I noticed that colored HP bar in combat does not fit right with HP percentage of unit. Although HP bar correctly change color to yellow right at 50% but length of HP bar does not fit right in the half length of bar when has 100% HP.

I have some more information on this. It seems like switching between combat animations being on and off causes performance drops eventually.  Keeping them on or off throughout the session doesn't have this issue.

It might be the same bug that you are currently fixing, but it might also be something else - I can't tell.
