Might delay our sixth one turn, worst case. Not worried.

Looking like a more and more tasty snack every turn. But yeah what is up with that silver city?  smoke

That Cow/Wine plains hill plant, settler is already there and the shared farm comes online next turn.

Future plans, I think Tarkeel is nicely nullified as a going territorial threat up north, so I think the next two cities slam down to secure the big flood plain there that Bing is contesting with that silver city.

Let me tell you a tale of two neighbors, and two borders:

Pindicator is a good player, with excellent traits, a superb civ, and just popped some kind of classic-era tech from a hut. He also reached quite a bit for this city here, it's over the halfway point between our capitals. BUT, it's also positioned where our own cities aren't too pressured border-wise, so I think we just let it lie.

Bing, on the other hand...look at that settler. Just where the heck does Bing think he's going? Next tech needs to be Writing but if he pulls this west it might also have to be Horseback Riding.

Ah well. I'd be more miffed, but the long-term of Darius is very long term indeed. Note this turn is the first turn that Financial has given us anything at all:

News of this turn is all in the north; got Hinduism from Pindicator, and the barbarians settled my internal debate on jungle-isthmus dotmaping with this great-post-IW city.

Your city spacing suggests that you're going for as close to a perfect ICS grid as you can get.

I'm not quite there, but it is going to be very tight with this Wunderland. That jungle isthmus is why I think I have a chance here despite being geopolitically between the huge juggernauts of Plemo and Pindicator.

"Let's make a detailed wargame on the 1944 Italian Campaign!"
Sure, sounds great, what should we call it?
"Anzio, it's a famous battle!"
Great, what should the cover be, soldiers taking the hills?
"We're thinking Mussolini..."
...okay, makes sense...
"...making his O face!"
...
