Don't worry Yuri, Geronimo safely escorted all of your surviving subjects out of the city before putting it to the torch. They've gone to live on a great farm in upstate Incaland and couldn't be happier now smile

Ugh you would think I would have learned at this point not to underestimate scooter's research capabilities:

5 turns to Military Science frown (albeit with some wealth builds). Once he makes it there, my fortunes in the war will turn swiftly downwards. Ship of the Lines will prevent my mass frigates from boxing in his navy, and berserkers upgraded to grens will shred any of my coastal defenses—my superior numbers won't matter much if scooter is doing the forking. But even if I don't lose any gains, as long as I don't make any, scooter will have this game: he can just keep teching ahead while my capture gold runs down and my units start striking.

I need to act now, and that act needs to be big.

Well on the plus side, I now have a fancy new island all to myself. Holding on to this land will be necessary if I want any shot at contending with scooter's navy into the future.

But far more important to the future of this game, is OPERATION OVERFJORD. That is my real hope at victory, the true shot I have at establishing a dominant position before scooter's superior units overwhelm me. I'll go over the specifics of the plan in a little bit, but the high-level objective is to have siezed control of the seas here before t138:

What are your build queues ? more navy or more hitters (or infra/money/science) ?
How big/growing is the Viking navy hiding in port/inside sea/lake and can you prevent them to try to go out in force and recapture the island ?
Do you still have viibility on all (known) cities ?

From your last pic, do you have a knight trying a world tour (island at the far right of the mini map) ?
