According to MOM Wiki, for dispelling it counted as a 150MP spell even if its cost was only 20/100MP. Also, Spell Lock had to be dispelled first before other enchantments could be removed in secondary attempts. I guess it is possible to change the dispel resistance of Spell Lock in DResist.CAS, right?
Obviously, making Spell Lock more expensive makes it harder to dispel, but...

Nope. It is not in DResist.cas. As far as I know, it is still hardcode.

The 150 resistance is hardcoded but you can add a spell specific resistance multiplier.
For example :
IF (SP=SSpellLock) THEN { DR=DR*2; };

At the start of my turn, I got an offer for 5 mercenaries for 1500 gold: Settlers. I'm pretty sure I've never seen Settlers as mercenaries before so I assume it is new. They didn't show a race. I didn't hire them either. Would they be my wizard's starting race? Random races?

Seravy mentioned some time ago that that´s a buggy offer, the mercs don´t have any associated race and won´t be able to create settlements.

Q: do AIs suffer nodes´random spell failure when not astronomer? (I´ve just seen a bunch of unbuffed spearmen and swordsmen kill 4 lizards)

Yes, they are. You would see this when you fight in node against other wizard, if they don't have astrologer, they will have spell countered by node like yours.

Yes, they are. You would see this when you fight in node against other wizard, if they don't have astrologer, they will have spell countered by node like yours.
Thanks, of course that´s true but I meant in strategic combat.
