Reading between the lines of the various threads (Gavagai's being the key one) it looks to me like Metal attacked out and killed at least seven of DZ's units - enough to effectively shred the Incan offensive. DZ even recognized the threat of something like this - he said he was kicking himself for failing to add melee stack defenders to support his northern mounted units, though I suspect he may have underestimated the danger to his southern stack, positioning it to hit Miguelito and forgetting the importance of still protecting it from his current war enemy, and it's even possible he lost one of his Galleys - but just how much damage he suffered remains to be seen....
Yeah I think you're right about the Southern stack; all metal needs to have done is road the "G" spot (Heh) and he can hit Donovan's stack with both of his own Southern forces. I think Donovan said it was Axe/Spear/4xChariot and metal has twice the units available. I'm less sure about him attacking the Northern stack though, as he doesn't seem to have the strength of numbers (or number of spears) to try to break through 3HA to the juicy Chariot core.
