Hey all, I'm really sorry to have to do this.  I'm on the other side of a turn split with Magic and won't be able to play until tonight.     Can I get another 12 hours added to the clock?

The problem turned out to be that my antivirus software suddenly and silently decided to delete the .dll file from the mod folder yesterday right as I went to play my turn. And then it kept doing the same thing without me noticing when I tried downloading and installing new copies. . It took a few late night / early morning hours to identify and solve the problem.

Again, sorry for the delay, and I will budget extra time for my turn the next few days to make sure that if something goes wrong again it won't delay the game again.

As an IT guy I'll allow myself a quick remark: With Windows Defender, you really DON'T need any kind of other antivirus nowadays on private computers.

(Microsoft actually improved Defender to a point where it's a decent solution, and other commercial antivirus systems are not really bringing any more benefits, quite the contrary.)

For companies, some security suites which offere more flexibility still make sense, but for private use, I've stopped to recommend using anything but Defender for quite some years by now.

I'll second that. There's also been several instances where the leading anti-virus manufacturers have collaborated with the software industry to not detect software that would be classified as malware/rootkits; ie several kinds of anti-copying software.

And then there's malware disguised as anti-virus software, mom fell for that a few weeks ago (luckily worth limited damage as it didn't go beyond the web browser).

If i end this turn today i maybe not right in time for the next turn. Iam back tomorrow evening. The question is now: End this turn and you give me more time for the next turn. Or i dont end this turn and have enough time for sure. What should i do?
