Just checking, you are using the wrapper? Loading takes forever without that. Most likely it's an issue with the hotel's wifi router port forwarding.

My go to for civ while travelling has been a mobile hotspot through my phone. It consumes next to no data and works reliably.

A similar extension will be needed for GKC, especially so he doesn’t miss a war turn again like last turn

Speaking of I know it was agreed on already for this game but I’m not sure the “no extensions without request” policy is the wisest. Especially when we spend several months on these games and one turn can gravely shift things. I’m not trying to relitigate, but I would vote for more generous extensions in the next PBs
