Just from reading the forum, I got the impression that (at least some) players think you cannot generate gold at all that way. I think Plemo and Tarkeel said it between the lines.
Maybe I just misinterpreted them, but might be worth checking.

Having an unspoiled player take over is actually WAY better than a spoiled lurker in this specific circumstance.

My quick list would be Scooter, Gav, or SD. Scooter and Gav are farther away. Gav I think is out as he is actually in contention so more map info bad. SD cares about the geography over there. Scooter specifically hasn't met either and is lower in the score so that would be my pick. Greenline would be another option, but I would trust Scooter to actually report / at least communicate on discord with Amica. Although Greenline did report his greens game ok.

In case I'm not around tomorrow morning I did message Scooter on discord and he would be willing. Will see if Amica gets it figured out or not. If not someone please post so game can continue. Still waiting on GT.

If it was peace turns I would have been ok taking over too, but as lurkers know Pin is about to attack felt weird to have a lurker take over and its notoriously hard to find an unspoiled sub. Although to be fair, Amica probably also realizes Pin is about to attack, but he has sucked at reporting soooo ya.

Nah, he knows he needs land badly, and kngs era is the est era to get that.

I mean it is a big and small map. Even if he doesn't know where, there is a good chance to just grab free astro islands without having to go to war. And obviously there is a lot of coast he can use those galleons on against any opponent. Plus observatories are pretty good for his econ if he just goes with expand to free islands.

Will see who he goes after. I suspect Bing. Bing can defend well, but only if he knows its coming.

He's Darius. He can afford to do some smashing with Knights and then tech up to Astro and do some more smashing.

I'm curious about Bings thoughts on not joining Commodore vs Pin. I mean I'm assuming it the super invasive cultural city..... But on the other hand better to live and fight another day so temporarily joining might be better.

As to Amica blaming his start. Its ok. His food stat was great for a while. I would tend to blame more the being checked out to the point of missing turns.....
