[pb74 spoilers] Miguelito and Ginger bring about the end of the world

1) I don't think there's a race for at least the next 30 turns? Also while it's helpful I don't think it's key to CV. 15 base cpt even in a cathedral city is something, but not defining?
2) we talked about this on chat, and we'll probably trigger to speed up guilds, and come out with Vassalage and Theocracy. I'd wait for the next Atlantis GP though.

While we wait for GT to play, I'll use the opportunity to announce in advance that I logged in before the reload, and we had rolled our 95% game defining prophet , and if after the reload we roll the 5% and it isn't rectified by the lurkers, the fit I'll throw will be table flipping territory.

Gladly we only changed from St. John to St. Paul due to the reload, and golden times still lie ahead.

I would argue for fixing that if it changed on reload.

Yes, this was needlessly whiney from me, sorry. But I was excited about it, logged in early morning after getting up, was happy, then Ginger wrote me that there wasn't anything...
The shrine is up now, 38 gpt before the market smile

today in chat we decided spontaneously to launch our first GA. It sorta makes sense - we do want vassalage, and we'll whip down for knights, and it speeds up Sankore/Minaret. It still doesn't feel as great as other GAs have.
We used the artist, because we figured that any GP coming from Atlantis next turn would not be used in his favour for GA, so we might as well gogo already. Well any but Great Scientist, let's please not get one.
First fluke: We need 3 turns for Feudalism, so we can't revolt now at the start and into Theo at the end.
Pictures might happen eventually.

We went our whole golden age without a report. Shame shame
I did however save some pictures of demos and every city from the turn we completed Sankore. I'll make a separate a little later going over each city in detail.

The golden age felt solid, but not exactly a knock-out. I think it was the right decision though, we needed tempo. Our Music and Divine Right and Paper detours for first-to's has let Magic Science catch up in tech, he finished Machinery the same turn we did and should be building knights of his own soon enough.

Overall, we accomplished all of our key goals:
1) Accelerate Wonder construction: Minaret finishes t138, and our GNP is now the world leader outside of GA
2) GP #3 turned out to be a prophet so we bulb Divine Right (still needed to contribute >700 beakers)
3) Squeeze out capital GPP ahead of 2nd Atlantis National Epic GP, we rolled yet another prophet* as GP #4 (#5 if you count artist). This allows us to stop spending capital food on specialists.
5) use golden age hammers to flesh out our skimpy military. We're now at about 20 "modern" construction units, with 20 ancients lying around.
4) Swap to Vass/Theo and be ready to whip knights, Guilds comes turn 139

Our position is strong clearly with leading demos even outside a golden age, but our food stat is bad, so we really can't afford to flop our first attack.
Peace is non-negotiable

Maybe seven? Not sure... But like true pros we built Hagia Sophia so our workers are way better than everybody else's (they save a turn on everything but roads, 2 if it's an improvement with chop, is that actually 50%better than usual ? No?)
