I wasn't aware that the extension was viewed so critically because of a test. It was not my intention to cause an unnecessary delay. In fact, it is similar to what Gav wrote. Perhaps I should have written a bit more about my current situation. First of all, I am quite obsessed with details in the game and therefore it takes me a long time. In addition, my time is very limited at the moment because, on top of the current renovation and move, the kids have been sick on and off since the beginning of the year. Hopefully this should ease off from March.

In the case in question, a new situation had arisen in the game that I wanted to test before making a decision. I didn't get around to it during the day and I didn't want to stress myself out in the evening with testing and then making my turn. Especially as I knew I had the next day off (but with a sick child at home). I will continue to try to keep any delays to a minimum.

Amicalola didn't play his usual window and has not responded to the DM I sent 6 hours ago. I will either need an 18-hour extension (assuming he plays the same time then I won't be able to play for about that much time), or consensus that we should skip him and I play through. I don't like the second option much, so I'll only do it if I that is what the vast majority of players want.

Six hours is not much, especially given that Amica, as I understand, does not have constant internet access. It is now early morning in Australia, he probably was asleep most of the time since the message. We need to extend the timer and wait.

it can snowball into an abandoned game, if turns don't come in regularly people stop checking their PCs so yes we want to be careful

However what I'd say to Plemo is that I don't think this community would ever reject an extension requested in good faith, so in order to comfort the concern above, we resort to shaming   to try to rush turn production

Oh fuck sorry everyone. It's my first week at teaching full time and it's so hectic I completely forgot to play my turn last night before J went to bed. If I've been skipped that's ok, I deserve it. If not, I'll play when I get home tonight in about 4 hours. Sorry again either way!

Can anyone add time? Four hours for Amica plus whatever Pindicator needs. He asked for 18 hours seven hours ago, so I suggest adding ten more hours.
