My understanding is that with the python console commands, you can select the units and then change their map position, so no fiddling with any of their states.

Can I have 10 hours? I am on a business trip and late home.

Last week the kids were sick, now I'm down with something.

I'm planning to go to bed straight away, but I still need a slightly longer extension as my wife has a longer appointment tomorrow that can't be postponed and I actually have the children at that time. I can't estimate the exact duration as I need to be as fit as possible for important work on Monday.

I'll try to give you an update tomorrow. Did we actually want to increase the timer or not?

I thought we were going to move to 36 hrs? I almost posted the same question yesterday

Is anyone opposed to the change to 36hrs?

Can I get a 12-hour extension? Tomorrow is the children's birthday party and the preparations are not yet complete.

As no one responded/opposed. I added time for Plemo. I have (at the very least temporally) extended the normal turn timer to 34hrs. Further extensions will be looked at with a stink eye.

If there is objection to the increased timer in any form say so here, pm me/lurker/thread ect. Lets play some Civ.

I still fear that setting 36 hours as a goal will effectively mean 48 hours regularly - which we are close to already anyways, and maybe it's unavoidable.

No worries Plemo fwiw, you seem to be at a pretty busy spot in life, and must be commended for keeping up with the game. Hope it's still enjoyable between everything else.

I dont like setting it either. But with as many turn splits as we have, might as well have it now rather than pausing/extending. Everyone should still attempt to play their turn within their normal 24ish play window. The extra time is only there to prevent headaches.
