More generally, I suggest a new pitboss etiquette rule: everyone should give their passwords in their threads and give blanket consent that if they delay the game without notice, a lurker-appointed person can log in and play their turn without any further warning.

In the future, I would be happy to give permission for any lurker to play my civ's turn if I miss it - there is really very little to do on a turn by turn basis. My password is in the first post of my thread.

You all don't mind if I open threads for things like this in the future at this point, right? I still haven't opened other threads even though my spoiler status is tenuous at best given that I'm technically logging into two civs at the moment.
