Ice archers supported by Amphibious War Elephants are the superior.

I think going workboat first is the play, no wasted worker turns and faster tech. If i fucked up and yours ended up being the better choice ill kick myself, and ill buy u a coffee.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Also, naming theme is book series. Starting with Vampire Academy.

what do your turns 40 and 50 look like with work boat first? and what are your timings for second/third cities and bronze working/pottery? that's uuuusually what i do to compare openings but your mileage may vary
oooo any particular type of book series you have in mind? or just general ones? also would love to see scouting info as it becomes available
Ive since lost the save/sim. Im meaning, in 40-50t, see how it comes out compared to your sim. If yours was better i owe u coffee :P
I think i had pottery further down the list of priorities. Once the game is hosted, ill confirm the password/ect and can go from there

Starting with Vampire Academy (and you might see a theme... and i swear im not obsessed with vampires) most of the series im into are young adult supernatural books. Outside of all the history books i read, but those arent really "series" Vampire Academy (could do a bunch of the books in it... like 10+) Daughters of the Moon Thirst Shadow falls House of Night Dance in the Vampire Bund John Carter of Mars Percy Jackson Saga of Darren Shan Immortals Golden Compass Those are the series i was looking at. Vampire academy has a sub series (continuation with another character) Same with House of night, Shadow Falls, and Percy Jackson. Depending on how many cities we are looking at, i could see going thru the big list, and then picking books out of a series? Or can add more series(s) to the list. These are just the ones that i have laying around the house atm. At least books that ive read/HAVE a series.

Yep. t0 apparently forgot to select WORKBOAT.
Stupid broken pitboss server.... lol. Almost let me do it again this turn, but i was like "wait a minute" ANYWAY... Probably wont be resolved, so ill have to remind myself to MAKE SURE everything is clicked/ect b4 ending turn. Password is Grapejuice if you want to pop in Ijubljana. BTW, is there a shortened version i can call ya? So much easier...

wait, if you don't select anything to build on the first turn, shouldn't the production be saved? i thought civ 4 was better about this kind of thing than that (in contrast to some other games in the franchise lol)
hmmmm..... chevalier and a few others say "ljub"... i have to admit though that one of the reasons i picked this name (10 years ago on the nuzlocke forums....) was BECAUSE i thought it was hard to shorten and wanted to see what people would come up with this was in my mischievous era, as opposed to now, my chaotic/destructive era... |
