I prefer simul. Lets stuff move better. No one that has signed up (i think) is someone that plays clock games, so everything should be kosher.

Snake pick is my preferred method.

Also, did we discuss city trading? I think I'd prefer a flexible "don't be a dick rule", I found one city per peace deal to be really limiting.

Feel free to change this with discussion. MS asked me to just pick something, but I have no actual preference nor do I see a special game reason to lock a rule here.

I'd be open to a looser rule on city trading; I'd prefer it wasn't limited to peace deals, could go with "don't be a dick".

I believe the "one city per peace deal" originated with my suggestion to loosen up the "no city trading" option. If you're going for "don't abuse it" I think it would be a good idea to post the intentions behind any city trades in your threads for the lurkers to veto dickishness. Although there are ways to give away cities abusively outside of the trade window.
