I need to point out that there is a human somewhere who came up with the idea to ask AI this question about cockroaches, so not all is yet lost for the human race.

I tried to answer this in the public thread as best I could without hinting at your thoughts or even that the question came from a player. No scouting with Great Spies, but obviously no in-culture limits to them. Glad you asked prior to making a pick, sorry about that!

My idea is to take Louis of India. The rough plan is to rush the Great Wall before the first settler and then use the creative trait to aggressively push back barbs by expanding borders. My assumption is that players are relatively isolated from each other at start to give space to barbs and whatever other madness Scooter prepared for us, so I hope to get away with building very few units for a long while.

Lots of interesting, as you, I am sure, know.
I have a technical question. If I have the great wall and settle a city, all barb units that happened to be near my settler get teleported away from my cultural borders. Will it work with the barbs who cannot move? And if yes, will it "unstick" them in a sense that as they were forced away from their original position, they will be free to roam?
Answer this and I promise I'll report smile

I tested this long ago, and found that [EDIT: ...that my memory is not always reliable. See below.]
