Counterweighting Gavagai has let Pin/Mig catch up, more or less, but he's still going to eat Picadilly without me being able to stop the train:
   
Vacation mode still going on. Could have really used a golden age right about now, very crippling to get that 3% Great Artist. My ORG factory push starts in three turns, last time my traits grant a surge of help.

I think the only good showing of late game changed CtH changes to civics was in PB66 when Tarkeel and Civac had statue of liberty and then went mercantilism along with changed universal suffrage to get the +2 production from specialists.

Thanks to the wiff on the last great person, this isn't properly my endgame configuration, but I'm HR/Slavery/Free Speech/State Property/Theocracy right now.

I don't know what Gav's thinking with this one. Really? You've made it extremely clear you're never giving me a peaceful chance to build. You're the top dog. Pacting is moronic.


As you can see, I'm up to just .9 of his power with this build-up, but the Two Freeloaders are starting Destroyers now too, nothing near Gav or my hundreds, but still something.

Factories all coming online in a few, so be prepared for green clouds over every core city.

Could some lurker please tell Gavagai to ONLY PLAY ONCE. He's logged in four times over SIXTEEN HOURS, which is a pattern. I don't know if I was going to DoW him this turn, but he's playing all over the place which is completely impossible to split with. Pin and Mig will be at war with him too, this needs to stop.

Had a moment of panic this turn, Tarkac flipped an oil tile and I'd accidentally given TWO oils to Gingelito. A loooot of these messages this turn:


Fixed it by canceling one of the two deals. Bombarding this island as the next target, but I think once I get a tank force online I'm going to burn a GA to take that big south island of Gav's. Really hope everyone keeps up this pressure.

Yep, my pile was Great Artist, Great Scientist (Physics), Great Merchant (Economics), and a second Great Artist, so I have an extra. Fortunately, adding a jail helped skew the odds:

...so I will be able to actually throw a Golden Age now.
