Can anyone tell me off-hand if ScootyGav can see the stackknights/road spot with their mountain? im ASSUMING no, but it would suck if yes.
Also Nauf hasnt returned any diplo back, and continues to burn improvements in what will soon be my land. The absolute balls of this guy. Invades me, starting a 2 (then 3 front) war, i offer him a very nice peace deal despite him breaking our long standing friendship. Why. I sent him yet another "hey, ZULU IS GONNA WIN THIS/MJMD IS GONNA WIN THIS, HOW ABOUT WE NOT FIGHT EACH OTHER, AND GO FOR THE DAMN RUNAWAYS" I even sent in there that id let him have those 2 cities back with no harm no foul. But its looking more and more likely that he wants to simply prevent me from winning, and not win himself. Id put the chances of winning at 35% mjmd, 35% zulu, 15% ginger, 7.5% myself 7.5% nauf. With my honest bet that Mjmd wins this because he was baby'd and somehow got the grace of god bestowed on him by giving him greenline who apparently doesnt want to/cant fight wars, and Gavagai who hates my guts.
Meanwhile Zulu has been more or less unmolested all game and has more land/cities than me. Yet im being portrayed as apparently worthy of Nauf's likely blood fued? I wont even have a semi-working economy for a solid 20t+ of no war/prepping for war. EVERYONE THAT HAS A CHANCE TO WIN IS UP MILITARY TECH ON ME. Not to mention other tech.
Sidenote: love the map, but the edge people have a distinct disadvantage over those in the center areas. AGG Praets giving me a long shelf life unit are probably the only reason im in my position. (besides ricky being the greeniest green.. which is probably 80% of the reason)

Peaks are limited to two tiles of vision over land. So, the only peaks that can see the tile you've marked "stack knights/road" are the one in neutral territory SSW and the one in your territory NNW.

Honest. It implies a lot of action, the borders between your two realms are clean lines. Just visually pleasing.

The question is simple, can Mjmd see the tile marked. He has a sentry/visibility chariot around that area. WITHOUT going into Scooter territory, can he see that spot? Thanks! (obviously the forested hill to the E-NE is another story)
In other news, my super secret knights failed to evade Mjmd's watchful eyes. Again. So, rather than hope that he opens borders again, i decided to declare war on scooter and maybe get some more GG points/MAYBE have a chance of doing something. (sent those knights to raze the city i can see on the east end of Egypt)
My "main" stack i sent was to maybe raze a border city or at least make him whip. He ended up having enough formation WE's, and probably catapults for me to call off attacking the city. I pillaged a town, and a village for my troubles. Im still waiting for ANY sign from Nauf that he doesnt want to just give the win to Mjmd. Again, Mjmd won the absolute lotto here. Greenline being passive, Gavagai having a rage-boner for me, Mjmd being able to have the lowest power for 140+ turns while building nearly every wonder. Now he is the tech leader, and is teching FAST. We need to band together to stop him now especially before he gets too many MG's. Ginger and zulu will likely never trust each other long enough to intervene, so its really upto us to stop Mjmd from just teching tanks and rolling. But i doubt that will happen. Ill probably get declared on by Nauf (WHO STILL HASNT GIVEN OPEN BORDERS SO WE CAN BE FRIENDLY-ER AGAIN) And ill have to choose between giving Mjmd who likely would declare as well, all that extra land for free, almost all of which can be soviet-d for time, or give Nauf a reward for backstabbing AGAIN.
I just now got Military Science, Steel, and Civil service. Im heading towards Literature now for the HE. Meanwhile everyone else has military tradition (except Nauf iirc) and 2 of which have rifles. Mjmd is grabbing Railroad, and then probably infantry next.
If Nauf doesnt signal that he is willing to help, i ask the lurkers to coax the others into conceding once Mjmd has railroad/infantry. If Nauf DOES decide to pull the lead out of his ass, we have a slight chance at beating him back. Any questions?

A quick and dirty WB test says no, the peak does not get 2 tiles of diagonal vision over another peak onto a hill, and the forested hill 1S of the peak only sees the hill next to it.

So he also cant see with a sentry chariot no matter what tile (other than the forested hill) it goes to?

Without sentry, he can't see it at all. With sentry, I believe he can see it from that forested hill, and I fired up worldbuilder to check:
(Really, it's not hard to test this in worldbuilder. Just hit Play Now and then CTRL+W)
