[No Players] Where the Lurkers Take Their Holidays

Other case. Greenline gets the city culture back without delay, this means, Ljub can't use the roads.
And when the city had the 3th expasion ?

Edit:
And even Teleporttricks are not allowed at least or "Don't be a dick". For me, a city gift to teleport a attacking stack ? This is a teleporttrick which runs in the "Don't be a dick" rule.

No liberation actually happened. He wanted liberate but couldn't because he didn't kill all units in the area before liberating.

Such things should always be clarified before it happens in the game, not after it has happened.
Reloads are actually to be avoided, especially if such a reload should involve a large amount of fighting - which is basically implied by a city conquest.

From my (limited) understanding of the tactical situation, I thought that Ginger is (was) quite in a position (if ljub makes a mistake) to conquer and possibly liberate more cities from Greenline.
Considering that Ginger has already explicitly stated his intention to liberate a city, it was high time to discuss this here.

It is painfull to see the zulu on strike while he get plenty of cheap impis and highly pillageable useless tiles like hill cottages that he will never work and will eventually remplace by windmill...

Seems like this would be a scenario where a peacetime split makes sense, the split of pillaged towns is relevant and significant. Anyone else willing to chime in?

I'm several hundred posts away from being current on Ljub's thread, but pillaging seems to be worth a peacetime turnsplit for.

Yeah, agreed. I'll post to that effect in the Zulu thread.

What made people (and some of the players) think that Ginger has this game in the bag? He has a neighbor with 10000 million cuirs and 1.5x his cities next door who will make his life hell. SD and MMjd seem to be comparable in tech as well

Also, not sure if I feel better or worse knowing that I lost my cat stack because of some bullshit rules regarding culture after city capturing.
Reply

Yeah, I feel you on that one. It's really hard to predict what will happen to tiles after a city is captured, and since stack combat can be so decisive, it can be very unforgiving if something unexpected happens.

As for Ginger's position, we haven't seen a domestic report in a bit, but they do seem to be in a very strong position with tall cities working a bunch of towns, and the stab on ljubljana put the Zulu economy into a real deep hole.
