Turn 1
Woha.
My first instinct is that this must be a joke.
Anyway. Let´s make my turn not easy.
We are Khmer so we need a holy site district. I would love river goddess but we could repair this by going tundra pantheon.
Having the stone tile in the first ring may be crucial.
Goddess of the Hunt would be a valid choice for anyone else.
So.
Let´s see what we can see.
Well, the coast will not save us, but there is a second 2f/2p tile down south. And we could potentially settle on the river hill on turn 3 thereby avoiding flood plains and having 2 2f/2p tiles in the 2nd ring and having a better city in the long run. My instinct I have to move.
Oh come on. The honey is calling to us a bit.
Yep, this is 5 era score. It seems edits must be quite minimal. I am used to that, playing CIV VI regularly in the evenings with 2 friends of mine the last 3 years.
SW on the desert hill I got 3f, 2f2p, 2f2p in the second ring.
E I see 4f, 2f2g. I do not see any production. So I decide to move SW. In the worst case I can loose another turn and move back.
Ah well, this I can work with. I am reliefed a bit. My first impression was that I am screwed turn 1.
Things will be difficult enough with Yongle and Tokuwaga. More on that in the next post.
