New / Returning Players PB Game

Am I mixing two different things, but I remember deleting some file after installing the mod to get it to work when I covered for Dreylin in PB75/PB78. I think scooter instructed to do so, maybe it's the same case here?

Yes I have BTS 3.1.9 and CtH 5.0. I threw out the disc a long time ago. I know I installed BAT a few years ago and may have moved a few files around b/c I remember struggling with it a bit.
I can try reinstalling the game on Steam and all these files again, fresh.

BAT changes something, or ?
And even if it’s only the Interface, BAT is not compatible with the BUG in CtH, or ? I never tried BAT or BUG.
I would say, try reinstalling first.

I'm still not getting it to work after reinstall. Not sure if there's something else I need to add or edit file paths, etc.

I have CtH 5.0 installed on
Code:
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods

I have the Wrapper's file in that Mods folder, too, and copied all of its contents to the Beyond the Sword file (where original Civ4BeyondSword.exe is)
I open the game through the Wrapper's shortcut (target to include mod= (...) mentioned in other post), go to Multiplayer -> Direct IP Connection -> Network Address: pb.zulan.net:3079
I seem to connect just fine, but the errors are regarding BtS and/or mod versions.
I also tried loading the game up through Civ4BeyondSword2015.exe and manually loading the CtH mod, but saw the same errors.

This is the error message that comes up when I ignore the first errors and try to load the game, crashing after a second:

The solution from the PB78 thread was related to a file called "update_info.json" in the fresh download of CtH5.0.0

Deleting that file seemed to be the key for that game.

That still didn't do the trick for my PC, idk what the problem is. I was able to get it working from my laptop, though, which has never installed Steam before. So at least I know I'm following the right recipe, my PC just wants to put up a fight.

Was able to complete my turn anyhow! Glad bc that was getting really stressful crazyeye

I wonder if it's anything to do with your non-standard Steam install location, not in "Program Files (x86)"?

Miro, does it work without the Wrapper? What would happen if you simply launch the game, load the mod manually, and then try to log in?

Gav, that still caused it to crash, but it seems like Dreylin's hunch was right! I have Steam and my OS on my (C: ) drive but it was getting full, so now I put most files on my (D: ) drive. I reinstalled Civ4 to the (C: ) drive this time and was able to connect to the game from my PC. Thanks for the help, everyone!

Xist10 you forget to finish your turn by clicking the red button. Or might be you are going to enter once more?

You can see it in the left column of the PBSPY Player Summary table.
