All they really need to do is just start linking the rampant inflation, crime, and unchecked immigration to Harris instead. But the Republican campaign people do not move as lightning fast as the DNC people when they spin up their bot farms, it seems.

Lets go through some facts:
- Crime - going down. Electing the most corrupt president in our history is probably not the solution in any case.
- Inflation - disregarding who you blame and how much (as president gets the blame regardless) going down - I'll also note that despite taking house in 2022 largely off of campaigning on inflation Republicans have passed nothing in regards to. And overall one of the least productive congresses IN HISTORY. I'll also note one of Trumps main platforms in tariffs are virtually guaranteed to make it go up, so if you care about inflation don't vote for him!
- I wonder if there was a broad, comprehensive, tough, bipartisan immigration bill torpedoed specifically for campaigning purposes??? HMMMM. Its almost as if Republicans don't actually care about fixing the issues (see current purposefully broken system), but just want to campaign on it.

In general its easy to complain about things, but actually doing solutions is harder. Republicans are very good at complaining, but when it comes to actually passing solutions they tend to fall short. This is what led a younger Mjmd to slowly start drifting away from them. That and the hypocrisy.

"Crime and inflation aren't as bad as they were when you first put our guys in charge" really isn't the own that you think it is.

Trump maybe a piece of sh!t and whatever he is accused of, it is democracy at work that he was, and maybe again, the potus.
However bad Trump is, nothing can be worse than genocide. The argument stops here.

Biden essentially ignored Kamala Harris for his entire administration, and I doubt attempts to hang his failures on her will be fruitful beyond the already captured base.

It's not like the Democrats are a bastion of sincerity.

I can't tell if you are referring to Gaza, Ukraine, or Sudan. I'd give the Biden administration grades of C, A, and F respectively. I'm pretty sure a Trump administration would have been F^3.

What would she be running on if not her tenure as a VP? Being one of the least popular candidates in a primary?

I mean there is a reason I used to vote for lot of Donald Duck. I went from leaning R, to leaning Cartoon character, to Trump going wtf how did Republicans nominate him now leaning left, to Trump trying to overturn election and Republican being ok with it sigh vote Democrat for the next 20 years until all the Rs involved are gone.

I wonder if the situation when they took power mattered? Again, if you are president you get the blame the for the situation and Trump left a hell of a situation. Most people were predicting recession in Bidens tenure and that didn't happen. Again I would tend to blame inflation on a wide variety of factors, but the one Republicans point to in the $1.2 trillion rescue act helped prevent a recession. Again, I would tend to point to other factors like the $8 trillion in quantitative fed easing because a certain other president had pressured them to keep rates low in a growing economy so that was their only remaining option. Or the factors that led a lot of world economies to have inflation, but again the admin does get the blame, but they should also get some credit for preventing a recession.
