you dont need gold with just your capital. 100% science is fine. Usually when u go to settle your 2nd city, will you finally not be able to run 100% science, and THEN you would save a turn of gold- then tech at 100% to keep binary science going

Basically, if at 100% science you are LOSING money... Then save at 0%. THEN swap back to 100%. Binary is best for... pretty much all cases that matter.

The occasional far-out screenshot like above is great, but its also nice to have closer ones to see exactly (without educated guessing) where scout(s)/ect are.

What are your thoughts on settling plans? (you can use Alt X to place a city big-fat-square placeholder to see what the city might end up with) Thoughts on your fellow opponents?

I haven't met any opponents yet, and no, no thoughts about them yet. You?

On my mind is whether to research animal husbandry or pottery next. My pop is now growing fast with fish, and will be growing faster after I've built a worker and developed the rice. What would you do?

My scout is back near Rome having explored south onto the peninsular, now heading NNE before scouting west in the unexplored territory to the north.

I was mucking around with the alt-x thing and ended up with an unsightly city accessible tile outline. How do I get rid of it?
