On my mind is whether to research animal husbandry or pottery next. My pop is now growing fast with fish, and will be growing faster after I've built a worker and developed the rice. What would you do?

My scout is back near Rome having explored south onto the peninsular, now heading NNE before scouting west in the unexplored territory to the north.

Can do an opponent analysis based on just their civ/leader choices? smile

Once BW is done, id recommend AH, and then pottery-writing. But would still love some closer/less zoomed out pics  hammer

1. Is it alright if i login to grab screenshots?
2. Have you placed any markers either with Alt S (to make signs) or Alt X to make BFCrosses? Curious where you would want to plant cities at, and maybe i could help critique those spots.

Ok for screenshots. Sorry, I'm a shift worker, and during my shift blocks I do the minimum other.

No, no markers as yet. There are many possibilities, waiting for more fog to be lifted and copper revelations. I'm leaning towards coastal cities as a priority because of rumours of the importance of a navy in this map.

Being that barbs are on, i would probably start a warrior, and finish that while chopping into the settler. Keeping the scout closer to where you want the 2nd city to be to prevent barbs from spawning.

So switch production to warrior now?

On that subject, I normally have a unit in every city and with every settler when barbs are on. That would mean pumping out 2 warriors then a settler. What say you to that?

Id swap now, but dont need one in the capital just yet. Probably go warrior-settler-worker-warrior-settler?
