There isn't much space between us. Not much at all. If anything I'd be the "Aggressor" settling that little river valley.
And just how much would I piss off greenline if I declared war to pillage the Seowon? That's enough intrusive throughts for one turn...he would go HBR and ruin you. Play nice. Send a delegation, accept one in return.
Proof I'm holding my own in tech against the rest. The Wheel is one turn from completion once I mine hte salt next turn, AH will be one turn from completion after this turn as well.
I need to go through the era score list to see if there is any possible way of getting 20 era score. Great wall improvement, campus (but only a +2 campus? What else?
Scores included for reference (god Civ 6 does so much well, but the UI is trash). Oh and those two barbs will probably die next turn.

I hate barbarians. I'm going to have to scout with swords at this rate. Edit: I should have gone with Discipline not Agoge. I would have killed both those scouts last turn, and this slinger would absolutely be dead. This is was my mistake.
Slinger rolls up. The only two options are retreat back within my culture or attack. Attack and get second worst roll possible I think I might have just lost the southern warrior. I need two more battles to promo heal and I expect a warrior to turn up and trap it, and I think after the slinger attacks next turn the warrior will be too damaged to score a kill.
Meanwhile the scouts run away. The long trudge to the barb camp ensues.
And greenline rejected the delegation No one wants to be my friend.
Maybe I need to consider building an Encampment 2S of Long and turning that into a fortress.

I'm a little paranoid. Just in general, like. But I neighbour Korea with a better tech rate, 50 horses, I need to cover the horseman rush scenario.
I've changing priorities slightly and focusing on defense. I need to know where horse are, and so I'll finish AH this turn. Ignore SW, I swapped by the EE, due in 3. I'm going for the campus purely because I need the science and I need to get the inspiration culture. I'm screwed for the PP inspiration though. I'm pulling back the slinger because that's a critical unit to upgrade. The Wheel will have to wait slightly, as I may need the gold for unit upgrades rather than tile buys, and the builder might have to chop two forests to help out walls and an encampment. And I might have to drop three promotions on Victor.
Lurker question: Does Embrasure give 2 attacks to an encampment or does it only apply to the city attack?

Another lurker question: would an archer on the tile west of Long be able to hit a unit on the tile east or south east of Long? And if there was an encampment 2S of Long, would an archer on the marble and the tile SE of the marble be able to hit a unit on the maize or not?

Right. greenline doesn't like the idea of peace. Massive miltary score spike, but he didn't use any horses. He doesn't have iron, but his gold dropped from 178 to 9, so he upgraded to archers. He did the upgrade on T44 though, I just checked, and it looks like he also cleared a barb camp on T45 as he has over 60 gold. Someone is getting it in the face, you don't upgrade 3 slingers to archers unless you want to kill something. If he bum rushes me now I'm probably dead, but it wouldn't be a quick death. Nothing I can really do about that apart from spamming warriors. No, I think he is going for horsemen and will go for some nice easy chops to get two out. 2 horsemen and 3 archers and supporting warriors would likely run me through, right?
Well, if I consider that I have no real clue what I'm doing, and I just need to fight to live, I will kitchen sink a defence, but I'm not sure I'll have to. Don't walls with a real unit inside (hell, a galley would be quite funny) essentially stop horsemen, because they can't use a ram?
Actually, do Galleys in a city get hill defense bonus?
