Our 6th city is founded. Akutan?? It is a city in an small island near Unalaska. I don't know anything about it history, but would be nice to hear about it.  Next turn the workers will start to improve the stone.
A Dog Soldier from Coldrain appears on the East of Fairbanks. This is his screen of resources: no gold no gems, so he must be having hard time with economy.

I am doubting what to do next in the Capital Unalaska:  a library?  a Settler?

The boat exploration continues to the West.

Next turn the Stone will be ready, we finish a Chariot in 1 turn and start Pyramids in Ankorage.  Two workers will make the mine of Ankorage and will get the boost of the chop. By them Maths will be already on.  I must plan when to make the two other chops to be sure that they will go for the Pyramids and are not lost.
We need 4 turns for Maths. Research has slowed down cause I worked a farm in Fairbanks for 2t to grow to pop2.  Next turn we'll work the Gold again.

Someone just made the Oracle.  I think he is Coldrain. His punctuation has risen by 34. But I should see a new tech researched in the tech screen. Likely MetalCasting ???
And we found the red borders of a civ on the far west.  I guess it is the Romans of Rick.

No techs appear in the screen, and in the Demo graphics we are very well positioned.  Also our power graph is much higher than Miro's. So no thread by his side.

For those who like blood, here is a Barb Spear near Fairbanks.  The new Axeman built will take care of him.

Roman borders in Civ4 are purple, not red.

Yes, I can't see well the color.  Should be Purple or Orange, not red.  The two civs I haven't meet yet.

After planning for several days to make the Pyramids in Ankorage, at the last moment (at 2 am, like in a nightmare) I decided to make it in Unalaska.  Because I prefer to dedicate the capital to specialist (it has a good food resource), and Ankorage to unit production (it already has a Barrack and good hammer source).
From my plans I can make it in 15 turns aprox. I must optimize the worked tiles and the 3 or 4 chops. In fact now I am losing food in this city to obtain the max and even number of hammers. Also 3 workers are coming to make a mine and chop 3 or 4 forest.  Among them the Bananas forest.
In Ankorage I started a Setller and I will whip because in this city I am wasting one citizen for unhappiness. I still have to decide where to take it, to City 7 or 8.
I am moving an Axeman towards East to reveal this E-SE area.

The wonder graph says that Xist10 has made the GreatLight and the Oracle.  Also the HorseBackRiding is researched, I guess by him. And he must be done the Metal Casting.
Also there are two players already with Maths (one in the last turn). I guess Coldrain and Miró? they had a great increase in points in the last 2 turns.

The explorers...  We can see that the border of Miró expands on the SE.

The first mine and chop has been done for the Pyramids. Still 9 turns for it.  The plan to chop fast the 2 forest North of Unalaska got complicated by the presence of a Barb Archer.I have a Chariot and an Axemen in 2 turns. Also I want to make more Cottages for Juneau.
The 7th city will be founded in next turn, near the Barb city.  I will have another Happy resource (furs). Also the first Library is done in Juneau. I doubted about whipping with 3 but I decided to do it, cause It will grow up fast enough to work all the Villages tiles.

Our Spearman defending killed an Axeman.  What promotion should I get him after Combat I? I like Medic for Chariots, but for Spearmen don't know.

No new techs discovered by others.  Neither wonders.  But in the Demo graph we are the last in Land.
The explorers on the West  and on the East...  We can see that the border of Miró expands on the SE.

Combat 2 with the faint hope to get formation maybe. You could also just keep the promotion open if you don't need to heal.

All the Barbs have died against our defenses. I chopped one more forest. With two chops more The Pyramids will in 5 turns.
The neighbors are making cities as the world come to end!!    That made me change the production of Juneau to another Settler.  And I send two workers to make the furs for getting the new resource.

The explores have seen that a galley is coming to colonize the Island at the SW.  That island should be mine.  I should have settled already!!
But there is so much space that I can not make so many cities!!  Their economy must be very hard with 10 cities already.

Something to keep in mind is that island cities are almost always direct benefits to the economy, just from the trade routes starting at 2 commerce rather than 1. When you reach the currency technology any island city is pure profit from having double 2c trade routes instantly online.

That's what I usually do. Thx for the hint.
