Turn 94

+14 culture. Wow. Only 2 turns with the rainforest into the damn arena.

Turn 95

Building that arena is soooooooooo slow. Jeez.

Timing wise, I am not sure how I manage to get 2 more units for the inspiration for mercs. So much to build all at once.

Looking good. Your empire is about to explode when you hit your golden age. Already have enough for a couple of settlers, probably a third by the time you reach it and are generating enough for a builder roughly every 2 turns or a settler every 7 or 8ish turns. Have you built your first tier government building yet? How far are you from the a tier 2 government? You will want the second tier one that allows you to faith buy units, in case your rapid expansion draws the attention of the other players and have a use of your faith after Monumentality is no longer available. Too bad Preslaw isn't Valletta, then you could be buy defenses and city center buildings. Any plans on sea exploration when you get a eastern city? Maybe it is better to stay hidden?

Turn 97

It is turn 98 already, but I did not make a save.

As you see I am really gearing towards my golden age with my faith bank.

Rome yields are scary and noone seems able to stop her.

There is some weird stuff as of turn 97 the war is over which is good? Rome´s empire score has exploded yet again though, so we will see.

Through some cunning micromanagment I have managed to dropped the construction of the collosseum down from turn 100 to turn 99 with the last chop at Mostly Harmless.

Turn 100 we get mercs and upgrade men at arms. Turn 101 the golden age hits and we buy 3 settlers and 3-4 workers if we can and one trader. Then things should get into a higher gear.

No first tier government building yet. Thanks to the size of my cities I had several infrastructure projects all pulling me at once and I can not possible keep up with improved tiles without a golden age. I want to scout Rome myself who is the only one who found me and who definetly needs to be taken down, I fear.

Turn 99

Of all the turns to take forever, this was the worst. The chop finishes the Collosseum pushing all my cities up to ecstatic. Now to get even more housing with an aqueduct.

I also buy an apostle, as I want to establish holy buildings with faith asap as well. My culture production is silly high by now.

Only 2 turns till the golden age.

Turn 100

Well, the era change is next round, so the summary will have to wait. Still so much to build, aqueducts now. Housing becomes an issue finally, so I need aqueducts and farms.

I also buy an apostle because I am a moron. I can not afford the faith for buildings right now.

Next turn I will need men at arms so noone gets ideas. Preslav has 4 of them, which is a nightmare. Maybe I buy them and ship them out to sea?

Turn 101

Finally I have a golden age.

Monumentalism is taken, I need to increase my science another way. The good thing is that I have more time to take all the eurekas. But still. For instance. Is the water mill worth it?

Further good news, after declining last turn, Krill took my DoF. Which is good, I was worried I needed more military. I try to keep my peace dividend as long as I can.

So, next up, buying settler 1 and settler 2 shown here.

So, thanks to the DoF I will spend 5-10 more turns in Autocracy, before Oligarchy for the legacy bonus.

After 2 settlers, 1 worker with faith and a trader with gold. I need to keep a warchest handy as I want to conquer Preslav still.

Turn 101

Don´t panic.

Don´t panic got its iron tile back to work it after the Collosseum is done. I had the crazy idea to build Etemnaki, but I still need the Aqueduct and my half built monument is waiting.

The population explosion is that bad that I actually parked a citizen inside the library. I guess you have not seen that in a while.

There is a very valid point to build Etemnaki as I have 3 swamps at other cities and the floodplains at my capital would result in 16 science and 7 production. The more I think about, the more I should consider it. Housing is at 12/12! thanks to the high food output and I can get 2 more from the aqueduct and 2 more from farms.

Mostly harmless

Has a half built Prasat. After giving back the iron tile and numerous chops it is a bit naked. 2 more mines will be done by the worker and one of the new workers will help it along. A crazy plan could see me establish the great bath here for more housing and entertainment, we will see. The next district will be an industrial one next to the aqueduct. A watermill is useless here. Maybe a granary?

Vogon Poetry

Like the two other cities, not enough good tiles. I am working the crabs unimproved. No half built things, but I need to finish the campus.

Babelfish

Only a finished Holy District right now. I really need a worker here and the next one will go here together with Magnus.

IID

Desperately needs a worker.

Turn 101 cont. World Congress

Fairly straightforward, I want more scientists, so we can catch up with Rome.

And I want to build industrial districts next to my aqueducts asap.
