i thought pretty seriously for a long time about signing up, but i really shouldn't commit to another game while my current one is ongoing (and probably until a few months after that too lol). but i'll be lurking and heckling with interest

Go with the 8 lsited in the first post; if there is a latecomer we'll fit them in somehow, but I doubt it.

Okay, this needs the leader/civ, but still a short evaluation of all 8 players.
In the end, I think a small rating is enough.
P1> P5> P3 >= P4 = P2 < P6
