FFH2 Patches?

Hello all,

I am considering starting to play FFH2 and just wanted to know what else apart from the basic mod that comes with BTS I need to install to be running the up to date version of the game?

I am sure I read it somewhere months ago but I cannot find the post and am getting bored of searching.

Just out of interest - what would the general consensus be on a FFH2 tournament game? It wouldn't need many quirks like BTS since most players are fairly noob, although most not as much as me!

I think if you were going to make it at all competitive (fastest finish etc) then quite a lot of randomness would end up being cut out. I could definitely see 1-2 people saving every time they're tempted to explore a lair.

Personally I like some randomness to spice things up.

There's plenty of roleplaying possible too with FfH which may be fun to explore.

And of course we could always have an event where you get to pick any civ/leader but use the same starting position.

The only thing I wanted really was for there to be one game that people write reports on - just so some of us can learn from those who have played the game a bit more.

A no scoring event would be fine - just play the game write it up - read others reports type-thing!
